I don't want to emphasise the "sides" in "all sides", but they're constantly shifting. People's opinions change, and universal mutual respect may be fleeting...
I agree - which is why I would hope for a rotating mod team so that people don't get burnt out, and moderators can keep up with the needs of the community dynamically.
