What you're advocating for here is that @fpmortals accepts his bullying and acts like a convenient little user with a properly policed voice. That's not a seatbelt, it's a whip.
I think that that sort of thinking moves everyone closer to disagreement. It doesn't make things more pleasant for the majority of people who just want a place they can ask questions and get friendly answers. They are the majority I'm thinking most about.

I don't have children, but if I did, I wouldn't recommend to them that they get into a fight with a larger, meaner bully just because they've suffered an injustice. Yet I still don't think it's inconsistent that I admire someone who would.
