it's especially easy to blame nebulous difficulties and human failings when it's a convenient excuse for the continued dysfunction of an organisation which is given considerable power in the community. Which I am saying you are doing right now, just to be clear.
I'm just describing what I see, and trying to suggest the best way people can make the most progress with what we have. I would be fully supportive of anything which improves it, but for as long as that doesn't exist, I'm trying to find the best way to work with what's there.

If I'm presented with the choice between "Hard Brexit" or "The EU's Brexit Deal", I choose the one I think is least bad, even though I know there's a much better option which isn't available to me. I can complain about it, but it doesn't change the choice I'm offered.

you're right. and those with a deeper skin tone should ride at the back of the bus, because they want to get to their destination as efficiently as possible. jeez.

Again, this is stretching the moral equivalence, but I would not consider someone selfish for choosing the easier option of riding in their segregated seat because, say, they need to get the bus to work to earn money to feed their family.
