This makes sense. It's hard to ford a way path where everyone is happy if one side believes their account is 100% correct, though. I cannot know, Mike's version of events, and to be gaslit and assumed a liar speaking in bad faith puts me in an impossible to win scenario

If one party is not budging, even after speaking with each other, it's a losing situation for everyone. As a result, I"ve deleted all my negative comments over the years, left the helpful ones, and I'll be revoking all of my participation in /r/scala.
