What about micro mastering a skill a month. This book was recommended to me, and I'm considering 1 a month for next year: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Micromastery-Little-Skills-Help-Happiness/dp/0241280044/ …

That's a nice idea, but actually the example of perfecting a soufflé inspired another more specific idea: I could perfect a new recipe every month... I always enjoyed cooking, but never devote time to it these days... which makes this exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for!

Replying to @propensive @kings13y and
I saw tango, painting a door and growing chilis on the list mentioned in some reviews. Were there any other highlights for you?

mastering a new dish to cook a month would be super useful though, right? a new card/magic trick a month.. yeah, it's more a seed for ideas than actual concrete items imho.. Good Luck Jon!

Thanks! Maybe I'll have a new vacancy in my life for magic once implicits are deprecated in Scala 3.

I was about to go and look up "Rihanna", just so I could reply "TIL Rihanna", but I saw where this was going and cut my losses.
