I'm going to postulate a bold and unintuitive hypothesis: the world has more southfacing coastline than northfacing coastline (in total distance). Do you agree or disagree? Discuss!

Disagree because almost all of Antarctica’s coastline is north facing.

I'm not sure how significant Antarctica is, though. Its coastline is about 18,000km, whereas Canada has 200,000km and Norway has 80,000km...
