On a personal note, having 2018 off from Scala World was a great idea. I always love doing it, but now I'm feeling even more motivated for the next three years, and my preparations are way ahead of where I've been in past years. I'm going to be excited for the next twelve months.

I hear this is a conference one should attend, even if not doing any Scala?
I think you would enjoy it. Even if you didn't go to so many of the talks, the "hallway track" is one of the best. And the "hallway" is Mountain Hall at the Rheged Centre.

I've only attended one single talk over the two Scala Worlds I've attended and it's still one of my favourite conferences.

The hallway track was indeed impressive. I remember having
