Oh joy. Simply wanted to upgrade to a more recent version of SBT and now everything related to sbt-scripted stopped working - there isn't even a scripted command anymore - and I've no idea what's going on. I love SBT, but it can be so !@# frustrating.

No, certainly not! But you can write some code which depends on another library, compile it, and run it as part of the build.

No, you can import its source like any other dependency.
