No, but it should. There's a bit more complexity involved for optional methods (especially withFilter): I don't want to require them, but they should be available to use if they exist.

I'm probably going to make it more permissive rather than less... ;) I want it to have a one-to-one correspondence with types that can be used in a for-comprehension. And these can return different types (à la indexed monads), which I don't support yet.
