For context, the FBI used to use http://ic.fbi.gov for our non classified email. Around the time I left (2015), they dropped the http://ic.fbi.gov and moved to http://fbi.gov . Someone may have gained access to the abandoned email infrastructure.

eims@ic.fbi.gov email address is used for second factor auth/notifications for LEEP/iLEEP on a daily basis. It is not abandoned name space.

Yeah it’s not abandoned. They sent it from federal CJIS systems too it appears.
