I generally agree with you, in the way you phrase it here. From some camps, there's a troubling equivocation where the bad tweets somehow cross out or are weighed equally against all the aims of Bernie's campaign (ex: Kos). But expressing this kind of concern seems very fair.

His policy and his supporters are two different things! But at a certain point, the message his supporters send on his behalf—whether he means it to or not—is going to push people away. And that scares me deeply.
