    thank you for this, i need to check it out. the latinidad as cultural amalgamation construct (w/ the problematic antiblackness only implied) was also conveyed in the 2007 phillip rodriguez doc Brown is the New Dream, George Lopez & the American Dream

    i would like to add John Gibler to this list—tho with at least a couple of his books he more compiles accounts of repression in mexico (against largely Indigenous ppl)
