Thanks! This scene is only 1024^3. It's currently optimized for RTX cards, but ray tracing performance using something like OptiX, which utilizes Cuda and optionally RT cores, is actually pretty stellar. The end goal is to have it run on older graphics hardware.

Thanks for your feedback! The actual fire voxels or the light coming from it? Both can be made as bright as the sun, they were just tuned to be very moody here.

Thanks! It's interactive at HD resolutions, but nowhere near where I want it to be. There's still lots of experimental code and tons of optimizations to be made, but I will say that even still, the waving grass is probably the biggest bottleneck haha

Thanks! Locking the voxels really helps with a lot of things under the hood and makes it feel closer to something like pixel art.
