They are, in my experience, more interested in claiming that polio is a fabricated diagnosis than in grappling with the issue of OPV and cVDPV. If you don't even really believe in the virus, you can't really navigate the nuances of live vs. inactivated virus vaccines.

There's a shocking undercurrent of fundamental denialism of germ theory running around in some circles. HIV denialism is one example of this. The insistence that smallpox was eradicated by sanitary improvements is another.
