The elephant in this room is open access page charges. Understand the act of publishing has to be paid for, but would we generate a model of publishing for the rich labs only? Current system is broken and we need to fix it, but caution re the alternative. I don’t have an answer!

I support the sentiment, but worry about how this impacts students who need unrestricted literature access for designing projects, preparing qualifying exams and fellowships etc.
