    Today we’re launching in partnership with Princeton‘s and his Dignity+Debt Network. Its mission is to offer real time stats on collection lawsuits filed against everyday Americans, and promote understanding of the indignities they face.

    Important new work on & that brings the regulators in as enablers of disruption (when & how this happens are the jewels of the piece). By

    Friends, I'm so happy to share my new paper in ! In both media accounts & academic lit there's a focus on how start-ups “disrupt” industries. Missing is the work of regulators who manage that disruption. This article fills that gap (1/3)

    Great editorial by citing my research on the handful of banks (and credit unions) that have become overdraft giants. Some in the industry are making great process. Financial regulators still need to step in.

    Debt collectors can now message consumers on social media! Messages must be private & they can't post publicly on your Facebook page about an overdue bill. Still, consumer advocates say that doesn't go far enough. 1/2

    Not punishing people for not having enough money is a game changer. Great news that @CapitolOne is getting rid of fees. Another way of banking is possible (as pointed out by )

    Game changer, is eliminating overdraft fees. Will JPMChase, BofA and Wells Fargo follow? After all, a new CFPB report shows they brought on 44% of all overdraft fees!!

    Advocates praised today’s announcement by that it is completely eliminating all overdraft and nonsufficient funds (NSF) fees on all of its accounts – calling on other banks and credit unions to follow suit. 1/2
