100% agree
If you live in San Francisco, & especially if you have a family, you should be trained in how to use a firearm & own one
Home invasions are on the rise, @chesaboudin is letting folks off the hook

Homes with guns are more likely to end up with self-inflicted gunshot wounds (accident or suicide) or family violence. So being the smart ‘odds’ guy you are - you’re also making your home and family more unsafe than safe. The great American gun myth

You can get stats without suicides? If I kill myself, that’s my choice and not neglect. If my kid finds my gun cause I didn’t hide it well that’s more neglect.

If you hide it well will it be useful in a home invasion?

obviously not!! But at certain age you can teach your kids about fire arms. Shocking to liberals, kids in the past/presently learn to live and fire weapons safety.

Yeah, and plenty of them have killed people while fucking around. If you have a gun for self defence but you have to hide it for 14 or so years before you can store it in an easily accessible location it is pretty useless for home defence.

Well, since you are not going to do anything when someone breaks in my house. I’ll keep my guns. Two the chest and one to head. Don’t worry I’m not going to Myself

For truly effective home defence only claymores and making sure someone is on watch will suffice
