Students from ALL ethnic minority groups get worse outcomes than white students at UK unis. This gap opens up AFTER A level. The report had 5 recommendations to close the gap: 1. Have strong leadership 2. Talk about race & changing cultures 3. Create racially diverse & inclusive educational environments 4. Collect evidence 5. Understand what works We must work together to ensure all students thrive.
So when i have people all over my mentions calling me a clown (and much much worse) for discussing decolonising higher education, really they need to say what they are trying to do to close those attainment gaps. Or do they just not care? It is clear there is a systemic problem.
