    My character are my actions. Beliefs are my stamina to do better. Coming together is compassion and change. Prison could have stolen that from me, State of the Union reminds me, I am an American. I can pave the way forward.

    Republicans & Democrats showed they can work together on when they passed , which changed the national conversation on mass incarceration and reflects Americans’ hunger for a fairer and more effective system. We need to continue that momentum.

    I can honestly say Brent Neck is a "one of a kind" prosecutor. Sometimes injustice is not just an innocent person going to prison. Sometimes, it happens when the punishment no longer fits the crime or no longer fits the person.

    YES! Another Diamond is home! Just got the call! Tina, 34, mother of a 14 yr old son, did 4 yrs, sees Parole Thurs, asked all the ways to be successful, our plans, resume, job leads, housing, clothing and help for her G-ma. YES! We are a village!

    4.5 million adults on Parole/Probation-wow a metropolitan city! I'd say this is a VERY important issue of reform, interesting read, not sure about the first statement though, incarceration rates are astounding! Thank you for sharing this conversation and viewpoint, very important
