  It does fade a bit after 35 or 40 seconds. I've always been bad at these things though.

  Yes, the colors faded away. It was eerie. Once I lost focus the colors returned.

  I kept seeing the patterns. I have good vision in only my right eye, the left has a cataract that I have not yet had removed.
