Too many to name...humor in general, ribbing each other, intellectual discussion...various "stereotypical" activities: A football game, playing any sport, etc. But, one hand on your friend's back can communicate much more than discussing emotions.
In my experience, the most 'intimate' forms of male bonding are co-authoring a research paper together, rolling in a BJJ gym, or going on a long road trip together.
