The NFL/kneeling issue has literally nothing to do with the First Amendment.
I know what #1A does constitutionally and legally. My point is that it was _also_ intended to sustain and promote a social and cultural norm of free expression, e.g. among citizens, media, and corporations. Many corporations now violate the spirit of that free speech norm.

Then by transitive property, the same should be said of the Second. So any violation of my right to bear arms wherever/whenever I want should be treated with just as much scrutiny, no?
