"Become more Interesting People"? I'm highly suspicious dating can have that effect.
Lots you young people date to learn social skills, understand the other sex better, calibrate their mate preferences, learn what to avoid, become more interesting people, etc.... All of which might lead to better marriage choices and happier marriages.
