@primalpoly do you think Polyamory is a game theory stable solution on a large scale? It seems to me it is likely to collapse towards polygyny and promiscuity. I have a few friends who do poly well(and very many more who do it poorly) but I'm skeptical of it as a broad solution
I think it works for a minority of people with certain cognitive and personality traits. It needs more empirical research and game theory analysis for sure!

I agree there are minority of people for whom it is optimal, my question is will promoting poly destabilize mngmy and move us towards the polygynous norms that held for most ofhistory? Monogamy has proven a very useful societal strategy what are the costs of destabilizing it?
