If people want monogamy, perhaps the way we 'enforce' it is with reactionary ideas like labor policies that encourage a better work life balance, parental leave and childcare provision.

It's interesting, but it makes some, in my view, bizarre assumptions that never came close to being uttered by either people mentioned. Peterson seemed to clarify what he meant fairly well in his blog. Didn't seem like a call to anything draconian.

He has me on everything but the speculation of what conservative men *want*. It’s odd to me that liberals will assume worst intentions when a follow up question from a liberal journalist on such things may clarify. The absence of such a question is telling.

I think it's biological. I have an extremely socially liberal personality, free love and all that, but I'm to the extreme right. My wife has a strong conservative personality, very traditional family structure, but is on the left. It was an eye opener when I realized this.

He treats mode as defining the norm rather using median. That doesn't make sense.
