I understand the first two, but why the third? It feels like the odd one out. Creepy and trippy are both properties not usually desirable in an everyday tool (but I can see why they bode well for novel ethics/metaphysics), but simplicity seems good most of the time.
Good moral philosophy should be creepy. Good metaphysics should be trippy. Good epistemology should be simple. @anderssandberg

Applied ethics, applied epistemology, and the totality of science are complex, because human brains are messy and the world's high-level patterns are manifold. Moral foundations are a lot more complicated than epistemological or metaphysical ones, though.
