Interesting. Would be curious to see similar studies in different countries, esp. free higher education ones, because from my personal French experience my intuition would have differed. Would be curious of some form of breakdown of humanities vs science too.

I imagine post-grad professional career life does the opposite. Especially once grads have earned financial freedom of some kind or settled down to family life.
