Pet peeve: therapy/self-help culture smuggling ethical & ideological judgments into descriptions of behavior by labelling them 'healthy' versus 'unhealthy', when they really mean 'good' versus 'bad', or 'PC' versus 'anti-PC'. Have the courage to make the ethical judgment.

The same thing happens in certain academic circles when contributions are labeled “helpful” or “unhelpful,” instead of true or false, good or bad, or more honestly: playing for the home-team or playing for the visitors.

Perhaps it is just ethical reframing. I prefer to judge morality of actions vs morality of people. Given I am not sure how I would behave in entirely alien circumstances, acting upon different conditioning, I feel like I can judge an action but not the person commiting the action

Yes, the average shrink often confuses the purposes of psychotherapy by employing a medical model muddling.

I'm disabled and I require therapy and I tend to agree. I am hard working and I function just fine in a meritocracy because of honesty and self-depreciating humour. PC culture is dishonest, weak and it makes me sick literally and figuratively. I'll keep breaking the narrative.

I like it when white knights and similar pc lowlifes out themselves by trying this strategy. They think they're being smart and avoiding detection, in reality it is just a huge red flag urging me to ignore and deny everything they said.

This point could be extended further into the whole notion of mental “health” ( which often involves value judgements)

Or at least use accurate language instead of vague labels. Eg healthy / good / beneficial are all subjective terms relative to a desired outcome. Using the terms on their own means very little.
