Maybe 'making the economic system more egalitarian' is a fairly trivial distraction from more basic challenges like promoting economic growth, global public health, and animal welfare, and reducing existential risks that could exterminate all sentient life.

The economy isn't growing anymore now than it ever was and one-time bonuses for permanent tax breaks are insulting. So much for giving a shit about the budget as long as it's for what they care about (tax breaks for corps and building a wall for some reason).
