To be honest, I’m a Libertarian & support serial monogamy (one person at a time instead of one person for life). Then once they get married, one person for life. However I don’t believe in any government policy to ether promote or discourage my personal mating preferences.
It's totally reasonable to advocate for values like this at the cultural level. I think monogamy might work most of the time for most people. I just don't want gov't to impose it.
