I got involved in the Effective Altruism movement, read a lot about animal welfare issues, and realized that, IMHO, it's unethical to eat chicken, fish, and other small animals, in terms of suffering they experience per calorie we eat.
Especially since working in fast food supports a factory farming system that kills 100 billion chickens a year...
