That's like saying 'freedom to bear arms comes with consequences', such as jail time. Rights are meaningless if you threaten people who exercise them.

Actually, if you misuse your right, then there are consequences. If you use your Second Amendment right to bear arms in order to commit armed robbery, you have violated your right and there are consequences.
