Geoffrey, academics face the consequences of free speech every time they get a harsh review, or have their position mocked by others. Just finishing Scrutcon's "Fools, Frauds & Firebrands." Nothing criminal about his condemnation of those thinkers.
A harsh review is totally different from a social media mob trying to get someone fired.
