The limits of academic freedom at a public universities are the limits of free speech under #1A constitutional law, which are extremely broad. And they certainly extend to a professor's statements as a private citizen.

As an evolutionary psychologist, perhaps you should publish on the topic of the adaptive value of free speech and the adaptive value of limiting free speech. And of holding the view that one is more adaptive than the other - and under what circumstances.

Draw attention to what she’s saying if course, but let her keep talking. The world is watching! And we’re seeing her, and her ilk at their very finest! Ordinary people don’t need this sort of behaviour explained to them. They see it.

Too be honest I barely like what I am saying much of the time, so don’t need folk who recently achieved puberty or arrested adolescents counterparts feeling need to remind me of this or attempting to redress it, when the greater need would be their own self-actualisation.
