I’d rather be content and happier than have a High IQ. It does seem (I’m not a scientist so I’m unsure of the research), those with high IQ’s have more rates of dissatisfaction and depression. Is that why the saying, “ignorance is bliss” rings true?

Does a persons IQ alone determine their individual and societal worth? It seems that a generation is become obsessed with the inference that this will provide a safeguard for a child’s future.

This is true, iq seems to vary a lot more at early ages. I’d like to hear more about how this contributes to crystallized intelligence and how that affects IQ scores later in life. Any sources you recommend?
