  Check out HBO’S “Vice” Season 5, Ep 1 “Assad’s Syria”. Seems plausible that US instigated initial revolts as a way to support KSA and diminish Russian influence in Mideast. But most Syrians seem to support Assad’s secular govt over Islamists.

  I've seen JDS talk balderdash so many times. Before I TRY to listen, I'll suggest: If Trump didn't do what he did, he'd have had the msm breathing down his neck about Syria increasingly more. This is much less than a solid explanation. It may well be its necessary part.
