That's a bit of a blurry line, depends on how you define "like". Common Law breaks crimes into 2 broad groups: Mala in se ( bad by their own virtue) murder/rape/theft and Meala prohibita (bad because litigation),l drugs/gambling/prostitution.

You're absolutely right, just like people don't like hackers. :) that's why there's a market for people to do those things in the legal way. We found a way to promote societal well-being by testing the fundamental fabric of that Society at various levels and intersections.
