We need to be careful what we wish for with these tech companies, be it FB/Twitter/YouTube. Virtually no doubt they shadow ban, down rank, demonetize and do shady stuff with data. However, the idea that the government can control or fix any of that is crazy. Competition > Govt.

The key benefit *should* be to demonstrate the disingenuity of the politicos who have the audacity to criticize FB's ToS, as if it's an opaque tome obviously beyond the comprehension of Everyday Good People, while the US Tax Code is north of 80,000 pages
