Are there any social, sexual, or political controversies where you're so evenly split in your sympathies that you feel genuine moral uncertainty about which side to take? (I feel like this about most public controversies, BTW.)

There is always the risk of a twitter war. You can suggest that the reality might be complicated, and get branded as defending bad-actors, when you are only saying you are unsure. "I don't know" is a reasonable answer to most questions.
