Lots of problems can't be solved but can be mitigated. More importantly, I never take advice from anyone with two first names!

A fly in this ointment is the question “Is it solvable?” It fails to realize that for all intents and purposes when it comes to social situations “There are no solutions, only trade offs.” - Thomas Sowell, A Conflict of Visions.

Another fly in the ointment is the concept of what constitutes a problem. A problem is NOT “something I dislike.” A problem, rightly understood, is either a) an unmet objective or b) two or more objectives in conflict.
