Should public universities be required to publish data about the % of faculty who are liberal vs. centrist vs. conservative, so parents can make informed choices about whether their kids will get a narrow indoctrination or a broad education?

I mean, if a parent is that concerned about political interference in his child's education, I imagine that parent is already familiar with at least some of the euphemisms. It's also a big mistake to assume that one's politics will be a telling indicator of their pedagogy.
