I'd argue that spending some time reading any department's faculty page of bios and areas of specialty will mostly tell you what you need to know about the instructors
But those descriptions are all in coded euphemisms that most parents can't understand.
I mean, if a parent is that concerned about political interference in his child's education, I imagine that parent is already familiar with at least some of the euphemisms. It's also a big mistake to assume that one's politics will be a telling indicator of their pedagogy.
