Exactly. The lack of absorbing barriers after graduation is a constant. The privileged lamenting their privilege whilst growing comfortable with privilege is perhaps entertaining. My father neither bragged nor bleated over his Andover, Ivy or Princeton.

I can't tell you how many of my classmates admitted to me privately that their primary reason for elite college selection was to find a spouse. Most felt guilty about having those feelings and all said they could never share publicly for fear of blowback (this was in early 2000s)
