College should be about career preparation, not leftist ideological indoctrination Make college 3 years, stop forcing humanities & liberal arts classes upon students who can barely afford rent If those classes are actually popular, students will voluntarily elect to take them
Yes, except... if students get a classical liberal arts core curriculum like at @Columbia, they might actually understand the intellectual & political history of Western Civilization, and value it as citizens. Depends totally on how it's taught though.

@primalpoly. Secondary schools should produce students capable of critical thinking, with a sound background in literature, composition and rhetoric, history, etc., but they don’t. Should be taught much earlier than college. High school kids should be learning about western civ by reading classics, not trashy modern novels about gender confusion and teen werewolves in love.
