7,000 Americans die per day, mostly from senescence. If we really want to save lives, we would invest massively in (1) regenerative medicine and (2) minimizing existential risk. Instead, we get sensationalism, signaling, and scope-insensitivity. Bad priorities will kill millions.

Yes. As if regenerative medicine couldn't help extend fertility as well as longevity.
