and the corollary: If the main factor behind the problem is denial of how deeply situationalism goes, searching for the cause in human nature can’t be the solution. Fortunately, each approach, if done honestly , can provide huge steps forward. Well, not from a tribal perspective.

But if what’s made us successful is our adaptability, doesn’t that suggest that “human nature” is not fixed but is more like a sliding scale allowing us to adjust our behaviour depending on the circumstances we find ourselves in?
