      Brighter people are a little more likely to have Asperger syndrome or bipolar disorder, which are both heritable 'diseases'? If you exclude them, you might filter out a lot of technical expertise and cultural creativity....

      Lots of single-gene defects would not work well on Mars. I'm more concerned with the massively polygenic traits that may have hidden costs and benefits that we don't understand yet.
