It might be too late to save some of these fields in the US and UK. But I think it's still worth trying to save fields like ancient history, art history, anthropology, law, and geography.

Surely the insistence that whites involved professionally in study of non-white culture is appropriation is bound to be unhelpful to these fields also (see current Brooklyn museum controversy)
