Serious question: why do so many University Counsels seem to have no understanding of #1A? Is it no longer taught in law school?

I'm pretty sure law students are not required to take 1A law at most schools. At Stanford it was optional. You had to take Con Law 1 (which is about everything but 1A) and then you could take an optional class called Con Law 2, which is about all the protections 1A covers
