Is @POTUS deliberately trying to alienate his base this week? After he made the fight against the PC regressive Left a central theme in his campaign? WTAF? https://reason.com/blog/2018/03/23/donald-trump-free-speech-crisis-pc/amp?__twitter_impression=true …

Simple. The idea of a widespread campus free speech crisis ran headlong into Trump’s belief that he’s wildly popular. And the latter delusion is more central to his being than anything else. It is his first principle.

You might be right. Very disappointing.

Maybe my own biases are at play. Lately I've been thinking that all the publicity around the crisis has been making the crisis worse (I do think crisis is the right way to describe it). The more conservatives hear about backlash of speaking out, the quieter they become.

The quieter the conservatives become the more they all see the crisis, after all nobody is daring to speak conservative beliefs. The only way out, is for conservative students and faculty to start speaking out, expressing their opinions without shame.
