I'm on your side in the need to combat the restriction of free speech, but . . . isn't this a trademark infringement issue? There are "logo police" in corporations that protect the brand. How is this different?
It's a public university bound by #1A, which means it can't impose viewpoint discrimination. Constitutional law is clear on this issue.
